Nurture Groups
What does the service offer?
Nurture Groups provide supportive group sessions for young people who are struggling with their emotional wellbeing. The groups help young people understand their feelings, build confidence, improve relationships and develop resilience. Sessions are delivered by Wellbeing Youth Workers and trained volunteers.
How can it help?
The group helps young people reduce anxiety, feel less isolated, manage transitions, improve relationships and build self esteem. It provides a safe space to share experiences, learn new skills and feel more connected to others.
Who is it for?
Young people aged 11–17 with low level emotional or wellbeing needs, such as anxiety, isolation, low confidence or difficulties with relationships or transitions.
How is it delivered?
• Group sessions (up to 12 young people per group)
• Duration: Up to 6 months

1 to 1 Mentoring
What does the service offer?
This service provides one to one mentoring for young people who need support with their emotional wellbeing. Mentors offer regular, supportive sessions to help young people talk about their feelings, build confidence, develop positive routines and improve relationships. Support takes place in the community or in schools.
How can it help?
Mentoring can help reduce anxiety and isolation, support young people through transitions, build self esteem, and improve resilience. It offers a consistent, trusted adult who can help them set goals, stay motivated and feel more supported in daily life.

Young people aged 11–17 with low level emotional or wellbeing needs, such as anxiety, low confidence, relationship difficulties or challenges with change.
How is it delivered?
• Face to face, in the community or in schools
• One to one mentoring sessions
• Weekly visits for up to 6 months
